Support & Access Programme
Helping More Young Athletes Access Volleyball
At MVA, we believe talent should never be limited by financial or personal circumstances. Our Support & Access Programme is designed to help young athletes who may need additional support to access training, competition, and development opportunities.
We encourage families to reach out if cost or personal situations may be a barrier — don’t self-reject.
Who This Support May Be For
You may be eligible to reach out if your child is:
-
from a low-income household
-
receiving benefits
-
being raised by a single parent or guardian
-
living in a disadvantaged or underserved area
-
an MCA student who may also be able to access support through the school
-
facing financial difficulty that may prevent participation
Support is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
What Support May Include
Depending on the situation, support may include:
-
reduced membership fees
-
flexible payment plans
-
partial financial assistance
-
support with kit or training essentials
-
guidance on accessing school-based support (for MCA students)
-
signposting to other opportunities where available
Support is limited and not guaranteed, but we will always aim to help where possible.
MCA Students
If your child attends MCA, additional support may be available through the school. We strongly encourage students and parents to contact MCA directly to explore what support options are available.
MVA is open to working alongside the school to create access pathways where possible.
Confidential Enquiries
We understand that asking for support can feel uncomfortable. Every enquiry is handled privately, respectfully, and without judgement.
Our priority is simple: remove barriers and give more young people access to sport.
